Set prominently within Andermatt, the newly built 4* Radisson Blu Hotel Reussen first opened its doors for the 2019/20 season. Combining classic Scandinavian design and the warmth and hospitality of traditional Swiss mountain hotel, the Radisson Blu certainly ticks a lot of boxes. Communal areas include a large lounge, bar, restaurant, terrace and additional business facilities, including conference facilities to seat up to 255 guests and six variously-sized meeting rooms. Large corporate groups will certainly be able to make the most of the opportunity to build rapport both on the slopes and in the boardroom.

The hotel restaurant offers an extremely well-reviewed breakfast buffet in addition to an optional evening à la carte offering. B&B catering makes things easy, with a selection of hot and cold options to fill up on before heading out for a day on the slopes. Return to the hotel after your ski day and head to the spa for a dip in the pool and a steam to soothe your aching muscles. The hotel bar and restaurant certainly provide a relaxed atmosphere to unwind and chill out and staff are on hand to ensure your stay is a memorable one.

What we like

- Modern design, welcoming communal areas, and spacious rooms
- Excellent breakfast buffet with hot options and a great in-house restaurant. We wouldn’t be surprised if you didn’t feel the need to venture into town at all during your stay.
- Well-equipped gym and spa area including a large pool with floor-to-ceiling windows and mountain views

Worth knowing

- Spa access is included in your room rate, so no hidden costs here
- The hotel is located 6 minutes walk from Andermatt town and 10 minutes from the nearest ski lift
