Winter is on its way!

Following an action packed summer of celebrations, festivals and more picnics than we can remember, winter is slowly creeping up on us and the season of 12/13 is certainly gearing up to be a fantastic one here at flexiski. The first signs of early snowfall are starting to appear across the Alps and we are told that the local farmers in Saint Bon are predicting plenty of snow this season (using their very technical signs of course!).

The team have been very busy updating the flexiski portfolio to include the iconic resorts of Whistler, Aspen, Vail and Breckenridge and of course our totally flexible approach ensures we can tailor make your entire experience. The hotel properties are truly inspiring in these resorts and the North American approach to customer service just has to be experienced. In addition, the opportunity to combine your trip with a city or beach stopover offers a totally unique angle on your skiing holiday. The Whistler/Hawaii combination certainly got a lot of attention here in the office, despite the obvious packing dilemmas!

On the European front, Tignes is included in the programme for the first time, offering great access skiing and very competitive pricing. The Hotel L’Ecrin du Val Claret and Les Suites du Nevada have been especially popular with our early corporate groups.

Meribel sees it first five star hotel arrive this winter. Le Kalia is certainly breaking the mould in the resort and we are expecting a lot of attention towards the property. Across the valley, Val Thorens is continuing its expansion into the luxury market with The Altapura adding its 5th star; the views from the hotel are worth the trip alone!

October sees the start of the ski shows and with increased media and press attention for the upcoming winter, the flexiski team can’t wait for the season to begin!
