Its snowing outside

Winter started again today here in Meribel. The higher slopes saw 20 to 30 cm of fresh snow this morning and the snow has just kept falling. At least 15 more cm is expected to fall overnight. The skiing condition on the peaks was breathtaking this morning. The steep wide bowls off the back of Courchevel provided powder and beautiful clean snow to enjoy, even if the visability was a little changeable. As the day continued, the freezing level dropped and as a result even the snow on lower slopes became a pleasure to ski. The prospect of fresh snow and clear skies has got alot of people in the resort very excited, bring on those first lifts!
