Easter Skiing

The first day of spring began in Meribel today. However the conditions were more suited to the winter months just gone. The sun was shining, the snow consistant and firm and the tempreture well below recent days. The cold weather seemed to have deterred most people as we had empty slopes all the way down to Courchevel 1850. The snow was in wonderful condition and the pistes had been groomed to perfection over night. The quiet slopes meant a ski through Courchevel down to La Tania and back to Meribel before 11! The Val Thorens vallee was looking clear and sunny in the afternoon so we headed over for more of the same. As always Mont Vallon provided late afternoon sun to enjoy on the way back. A truely great first spring day in the Trois Vallee.
