Today saw a very changeable day here in Meribel. The morning allowed us to take full advantage of the overnight snow. The cloud lifted during breakfast and rewarded everyone that had risen early. The morning saw beautiful sunshine and fresh snow, so Courchevel 1850 was the first destination to enjoy the long motorway runs high above the resort. The pace was quick as we crossed over the valley as we headed towards La Tania. The tree-lined runs down to village are really a must see when skiing in the Trois Vallee, these runs are enjoyed by everyone regardless of ability. Sadly the cloud and wind increased in the afternoon, so as St Martin De Belleville seemed to have escaped the fog we headed down towards the village by crossing over the Meribel Valley. A little rain followed, so we all headed in for a welcome deserved drink in one of Meribel many bars. A truly diverse day.
