The snow is still falling

Even as we enter the last few weeks of the season, the skies continue to be full of clouds and deliver snow across the alps. As freezing levels are around most resort heights, the villages are seeing a little rain but up on the mountain its definitely snowing. The conditions for this late on are really good, usually by now the flips-flops and shorts are out ! However this year, even the statues in the centre of town are still covered. The good start to the season looks like being matched by the best end of a season for quite a few years.
