As the staff in the Amalien Haus are all but finished for the season, polishing the last surface and saying our goodbyes, it would seem that St Anton doesn’t want any of the staff to leave, well, Iceland doesn’t at least! It would be difficult not to mention the somewhat ill timed events of the volcano in Iceland, which has left hundreds of seasonaires and a few guests unable to leave the resort thanks to the closing of UK airspace for the past 5 days. Needless to say, the final flexiski guests were some of the few who have successfully made it back home thanks to a ferry back to the UK, just in time for the important Derby this weekend!
