enjoying the English summer

With the English summer well and truly here, the memories of those long spring ski days seem a long time ago. However with the new flexiski brochure being released and bookings for next season in full swing, the team’s attention is already focused on their next winter adventure and the season will quickly be upon us. We are working hard with our suppliers to make sure we can offer tailor-made experiences to our clients. New for 09/10 we’ll be offering a performance coaching course in partnership with New Generation ski school. This is a custom built course for those who want to focus on developing their skiing technique. With everything from ski theory to video analysis of your technique, you will return from the alps a better skier – guaranteed.
While most of the resort team have headed south for the summer and are enjoying beach and trek adventures. John is flying the flag for the overseas team and is coping well with life back in the land of nine to five! As recruitment for overseas is gathering pace, the team promises to be a mix of youthful, exuberance and experienced seasonnaires and we are all hoping we will be rewarded with the fantastic snow conditions we have enjoyed over the last couple of seasons. With those memories still fresh in the mind, the lure of early breaks is proving hard to resist and I have already seen shiny new boxes of kit being delivered to the office.
As much as everyone enjoys the summer months, until we can put the boots on and get up the hill for the first time next season it won't be the same. With many new lift updates and upgrades planned for European resorts and of course the Olympics drawing everyone’s attention over to Canada this upcoming season promises to as busy and rewarding as ever.
