A buzzing Val d’Isère "Snow Park"...
Posted: Monday 15th February 2010 by Val dIsere
Temperatures in Val d’Isère have dropped considerably since the last snowfall, from -5 degrees to a chilly -15 degrees. The weather forecast for the next 3 days shows interchangeable weather, with the mornings starting out clear & sunny but quickly becoming cloudy, with intermittent snowfall after lunch.
Snow conditions are superb after the recent snowfall, with all lifts open within resort. The Val d’Isère "Snow Park" is buzzing, now that it is half term, with both skiers and boarders enjoying the newly installed airbag jump. James and I, Chalet Balias’ resident chef and hostess, have been taking advantage the freshly laid snow and new transceivers off- piste.
Chalet Balias is still very lively, the RAF boys are still enjoying their hard earned time off from training & chalet ‘first-timers’ the Kinghorn’s, who will be having private lessons with Richard at New Generation during their stay, are having a fantastic time - we're all looking forward to another couple of days of superb conditions!
