Guests from far and wide...

Here in the Amalien Haus we are all excited to be starting another week with new guests, but consequently that means the departure of last weeks guests. The Nash party, who travelled from as far as Australia for their break in St Anton, which was highly conducive to their visit to the Krazy Kangaruh where they settled in and dreamed of home after a fantastic days skiing in beautiful blue skies in St Anton. On Friday all the guests took full advantage of the opening of Rendlbahn, new for 2009, with great access to the sunny slopes of Rendl. Having not yet skied this season, the snow was soft and plentiful for all to enjoy in the sunshine.

The Chadwicks joined us later in the week for a quick break to get some video footage of Ella for an A-Level in PE which really tested Tom’s skiing skills – never more apparent than when skiing a slalom course backwards to capture “the moment”. The temperatures here have been bitterly cold, which has really helped to keep both on and of piste in good condition (and makes even more of an excuse for a hot chocolate stop at the Hospiz Alm in St. Christoph). The next week is set to be much milder with the occasional top up of snow and sun which is bound to please all.
