St Christoph ResortSt Christoph at night
Although part of St Anton’s magnificent ski circuit the small resort of St Christoph is a major attraction in its own right. The tiniest of resorts - a handful of colourful old buildings cocooned in deep snow - St Christoph has a fairytail quality not repeated anywhere in Austria.

Its stunning location on the Arlberg pass means the skiing is truly on your doorstep and access to the full extent of the skiing area couldn’t be easier. A highlight is the run down to the superb Hospiz Alm restaurant, where traditional local dishes and a warm welcome await you.

beginners and intermediates
For beginners, St Christoph may not be the most suitable resort as the main ski lift takes you to the top of the Galzig which only has one run back down into the resort. A great resort however for intermediates, the run back to resort is long and wide making it one of the easier blues in the area. Gampen and Galzig both offer a selection of runs sutiable for intermediates, the majority of them are long, wide pistes allowing you to cruise down the runs, do be warned though at times these areas can get busy. The best option for any beginner staying at this resort would be to catch the ski bus to St Anton and try out the slopes at Gampen and Rendl.

advanced and off piste
The St Christoph chair lift offers advanced skiers easy access to Valluga, Schindlerkar and Mattun where you'll find a range between powdery bowls and steep descents. However there are plenty of other options available, head to Lech and try the White Circuit or head down to St Anton and back up to Kapall.

St Christoph is possible one of the best areas in the Arlberg to stay for off piste. Located close to Stuben, accessible via the resort bus, you'll have access to some of the best off piste in the entire ski area.

Whatever you're looking for the Arlberg ski area has 260 km of piste, 30% of which is aimed at advanced and off piste skiers. As an alternative the Arlberg area also offers over 40km of cross country areas to be explored.

apres ski
St Christoph is the smallest of all of our resorts with only 13 buildings the resort doesn't have a huge amount of apres-ski activities but thats not to say you won't enjoy yourself. The Arlberg Hospiz and Hospiz Alm are two exceptional restaurants and if you want to try something a bit more lively a taxi to St Anton isn't very far or expensive.

For anyone looking to really get away from the stresses of everyday life and enjoy exceptional luxury five star accommodation, St Christoph is perfect.
