Courchevel is undeniably the ultimate French resort and the capital of the Three Valleys, its slopes are vast, varied and immaculately groomed. There is a a choice of discreet yet opulent hotels and chalets for both short ski breaks and more traditional seven night skiing holidays.
The majority of our accommodation is situated within Courchevel 1850 in great ski-in, ski-out locations. Courchevel 1850 is the highest of the Courchevel stations and benefits from a number of superb runs back into resort. The skiing is superlative with north-facing homeward slopes, high altitude and snow cannons providing a virtual guarantee of good snow all season.
beginners and intermediates
Courchevel is the perfect resort for beginners, with dedicated "ZEN" areas that are affectively designated, fenced off nursery slopes. The landscape in Courchevel 1850 is wonderful with beautiful rolling fields in the summer and smooth, groomed pistes in the winter following the natural contours of the terrain. The best place for beginners tends to be the Pralong and Le Bellecote slopes with a number of green runs available, although the Le Bellecote slope can get busy at times as it is one of the main runs back to the centre of resort. Intermediates will be spoilt for choice with a huge range of easy blue and varying red runs in Courchevel Valley, the largest valley in the ski area. Courchevel 1850 is really well linked with Courchevel 1650, Courchevel 1550 and La Tania, the links to La Tania are particularly well suited to intermediates with picturesque, tranquil blue runs right down to the resort.advanced and off piste
Courchevel has a lot to offer advanced and off piste skiers with some of the best black runs in the Trois Vallees, choose from the famous challenging 'grand couloirs' from the top of Saulire or the vast off-piste areas and heart-pumping moguls around Chanrossa chair lift. Don't forget though there are over 600km of piste throughout the Trois Vallees and as an expert or an off piste skier you'll find some magnificent itineraries and routes to challenge you.apres ski
Courchevel 1850 is a gorgeous alpine town, the apres ski here starts around midday in one of the many exclusive mountain restaurants including Chalet Piere and the famous Cap Horn, overlooking the helipad. In the evening the resort tends to be more subdued and clients can head back to their hotel to enjoy the luxurious spa facilities or sit at the hotel bar and enjoy cocktails and champagne. In the centre of resort there are also a number of exceptional restaurants to spend your evening in, world class restaurants including two Michelin starred La Chabichou and the amazing La Bistrot de la Mangeoire line the streets.
