Our resident band 'Bring Your Sisters' continue to attract guests from all over the resort...

Posted: Sunday 30th January 2011 by Saintlouis

We had bright blue skies and sunny weather here in Courchevel 1850 last week. Slightly colder temperatures and a dusting of snow on one evening have really improved conditions on the slopes, making for some fantastic skiing on quiet pistes across the Three Valleys ski area.

On Friday (21st), Ski Event Manager Emma took friends Steve Wilson, Sean Burns and JT McDonald on a ski orientation session around Courchevel. They followed the sun all morning, first skiing down the runs off the Chenus lift, Anemones and Loze, before basking in sunshine on the Biolley chairlift. They then met up with their friends who had been having a lesson with the English-speaking instructors at New Generation ski school and headed up to ‘Le Panoramic’ restaurant right at the top of Courchevel for a delicious lunch accompanied by stunning views across the Alps.

The following day, our guest Martin Wilson (who is of a more advanced skier than the rest of his group) went out on the slopes with John our Ski Event Manager as he and was looking for someone who could blast down the mountain with him. They headed right to the top of the Saulire lift, the highest point in Courchevel, before skiing all the way down into Courchevel 1650. They had a fantastic time and Martin is looking forward to some more skiing with Emma and John during the rest of his stay in the Hotel Saint Louis.

Our evening of live music courtesy of resident band ‘Bring Your Sisters’ was particularly spirited last week as we were joined by guests from Flexiski’s Chalet Leonardo in Meribel. As word is spreading across resort, our band night is increasing in popularity and Flexiski is really showing the rest of Courchevel a fantastic night of après-ski in the Hotel Saint Louis.
