The Altitude Festival in full swing...

Posted: Thursday 25th March 2010 by leonardo

The Altitude Festival continues to keep Méribel entertained. The aim is for the whole festival to be carbon neutral and raise awareness of global warming and how we can do our bit to prevent it. The organisers have also been running the brainstorming alpine success story that is 'Taking the Piste' Comedy across the Alps for 8 years in conjunction with Méribel tourist office. Highlights of the festival have included Monday evening at the auditorium with 'Craig Campbell and the incredible Irish duo 'Hip-Hop Instructors'! Tonight, DJ Yoda is performing at Dicks Tea Bar, embracing music as diverse as Hip-Hop, Funk, Drum n Bass, all edited and played with a selection of films and TV shows. This evening, Marcus Brigsrocke, Rufus Hound, Ian Coppinger and Steve Frost are going to perform at Méribel Auditorium - a fantastic line up!

The sun continues to shine in the Three Valleys but this is forecast to come to an end on Friday when more snowfall is due. This should give the slopes a good coating just in time for Chalet Leonardo's new Easter holiday arrivals on Sunday.
