Corporate ski hosting...

Posted: Tuesday 16th March 2010 by leonardo

This morning we said goodbye to our corporate guests - they had a fantastic few days in Chalet Leonardo with a fun-filled itinerary. On Friday, Rosie and Nellie, flexiski’s resident Ski Event Managers, toured with two different groups to Les Menuires with a quick lunch break together. That evening, we all headed to Mottaret to try out snow biking! It was incredible - cruising around the deserted mountains and racing around the track - it definitely brought out the 'boy racer' in Nellie! The best part of the evening was supper in the mountain restaurant L'Arpasson at the bottom of the Tougnete 2 chairlift. The food was delicious and the entire restaurant was reserved for us. We then descended back down into the valley by torchlight - what an amazing evening! The ski hosting continued on Saturday with a lunch break at Lodge de Village in Méribel Village and an après ski session at the infamous Rond Point. Next on the agenda was sledging down the Truite piste which runs between Méribel and Mottaret before having a glass of bubbly in the hot tub and a four-course meal in the Chalet Leonardo- to say the least, they definitely made the most of their time in Méribel.

Our new guests arrived this afternoon and it is perfectly timed as the Little World Festival begins today. It offers music from major acts including The Feeling and Sophie Ellis Bextor, and promises over 40 gigs during the week including a free open air concert on the piste. Acts include Fiction Plane, Ed Harcourt, Glen Tilbrook (The Squeeze) and Graham Gouldman (10cc) will perform in venues including Méribel’s Auditorium and at a free open air concert outside the Rond Point.

Definitely a few days to remember…
