Delicious mountain lunches...
Posted: Wednesday 17th March 2010 by leonardo
It has been glorious weather in the Three Valleys over the last few days. The large corporate group, who have staying in Chalet Leonardo at the moment, are making the most of the fabulous conditions with ESF lessons in the morning and leisurely skiing in the afternoon after delicious mountain lunches. So far, they have tried Castors at the bottom of the Tougnete bubble and the Bel Air restaurant in Couchevel 1650 - both of which are highly recommended.
Yesterday, the group leader was ski guided by Darragh, Chalet Leonardo’s Resort Manager, in Courchevel. Despite the fact that he has been skiing in the Three Valleys for roughly 30 years, Darragh managed to find a piste he had never skied before - Cospillot - a run down to Courchvel 1550 past the new Hotel Le Strato and chalets. They stopped for lunch at the Beau Blanc before Nellie and I, Chalet Leonardo’s Ski Event Managers, joined them at Choucas under the Saulire bubble for a glass of Van Chaud in the sunshine, the perfect way to end a great afternoon skiing.
