Ski Event Management over to Courchevel 1650

Posted: Monday 8th February 2010 by leonardo

Yesterday, I (Rosie, Méribel’s Ski Event Manager) had a brilliant day ski hosting Dominic and his girlfriend Bex. Despite the flat light and chilly temperature, we explored Courchevel 1650 with a hot chocolate stop, including whipped cream and marshmallows, at le Bubble bar before heading to the Cap Horn for lunch. However, we didn't want to stop for long as the weather started to clear so we caught the Verdons and Vizzel lifts as and skied all the way to the bottom of Courchevel 1850, where we enjoyed an après drink in Le Kalikos.

Meribel's pistes are buzzing as the French holidays begin and February half term approaches. Quieter pistes were found over in Courchevel 1650 including Chapelets and the pistes below the Chanrossa chairflit.

There is more than enough to keep our new guests entertained in Méribel - this evening you can Salsa the night away at Bar le Poste in Méribel centre with live Alma Latina music and promotions on mojitos all evening! Tomorrow the Olympic Centre at le Chaudanne is hosting the Men's Europa Cup Alpine Skiing, which continues onto the following day. Finally, on Thursday, there is an opportunity to enter a giant slalom race for children and adults at the Corbey Stadium.

We hope you can come and visit us soon!
