Skiing the Lagopède and Plein Sud pistes...

Yesterday, after bidding the Lyburn guests farewell, the flexiski team at Chalet Leonardo all headed to Val Thorens en masse. The weather could have been better with a high wind chill factor and flat light, but we didn't let this dampen our spirits as we found great snow on the Lagopède and Plein Sud pistes and headed to the more sheltered Orelle valley to warm up. After a hot chocolate stop in the Chalet Chinal Donat, at the bottom of the Rosael chairlift, we continued to explore the Val Thorens valley before finishing at the Folie Douce to experience the infamous après ski. The atmosphere was electric with superb live music and dancing until the early hours!

Darragh, the Méribel Resort Manager, and Rosie, the Méribel Ski Event Manager, are heading to Courchevel this evening to Ski Events Manage and welcome the guests from Creditex. The weather forecast is looking promising with 9 cm of snow due on Sunday morning and sunny spells throughout the weekend.
