Still so much to look forward to in Méribel...

Posted: Friday 12th February 2010 by leonardo

Méribel is hotting up as the half term guests begin to arrive and the Chalet Leonardo team welcomed the Strawson family today who were keen to get skiing straight away to take advantage of the fresh powder and hot sunshine. A little more snow is forecast over the next few days with patches of sunshine but, as well as the fabulous conditions, there is plenty to keep them occupied in town.

On Saturday, there’s a chance to test your ski level in the Fleche giant slalom. This is run by the ESF and the fleche tests allows you to compare your skiing level and progress from year to year and against skiers across France. Otherwise La Tsaretta will be showing the Six Nations game Ireland v France with a long happy hour. Love is in the air on Sunday, seeing as its Valentine's Day, La Tsaretta is offering a three-course set menu with live music from Hobochic at 10:30pm. As part of the BMW tour of the Three Valleys, there is presentation and testing of the BMW 2010 range under the inflatable structure at La Chaudanne at Méribel on Monday.

Chalet Leonardo is about to get a whole lot busier with the Kiy party arriving on Saturday and the Mee guests on the following Sunday - it should be a really fun half term!
