Meribel - carving fresh tracks

Posted: Tuesday 31st March 2009 by leonardo

Last weeks sunshine gave way to some very heavy snow over Friday and Saturday, giving a much needed covering on piste and providing some fresh tracks off it! Indeed, Dan the resort manager, alongside Juan were lucky enough to head out with New Generation and carve some fresh tracks into Le Dent de Burghin mountain face, much to the envy of the rest of the Meribel team!

This weekend saw the final instalment from G-Research at the Chalet Leonardo, and as predicted it was another weekend of keen enthusiastic skiers and some equally enjoyable après ski! Courchevel 1650 was the highlight of the trip, with our resident ski event manager winning at the speed test and unsurprisingly his protégé, John, was somewhere off the pace!

Despite the weather proving to be somewhat of a hindrance at lunch time all our guests enjoyed an exquisite lunch at Le Blanchot on Saturday, with some clients relaxing for up to 3 hours at this charming hideaway! All in all a highly successful week here in Le Trois Vallees and with the sun set to roll in over the next few days, we're all looking forward to toping up our tan!
