Meribel - celebrations over Easter and the Altitude Festival

Easter week in Meribel came and went with the whole of the three valleys still skiing strong despite blistering sunshine running up to the weekend which caused most of the snow to melt lower down in resort. This only served to increase the romance of spring skiing with temperatures cold enough to provide excellent skiing at the top and sunbathing weather at the bottom!

The team at the Chalet Leonardo were joined by one of our best client's the Short family who have visited the chalet for the last seven years in a row and fitted in brilliantly feeling at home almost straight away. The altitude festivals have also visited meribel, with some explosive comedy and fantastic live bands there really has been something of a carnival atmosphere of late. Alas with the season coming to a close many bars and apres ski venues are begining to close down here in le trois vallee, of note was the closure of le Jump bar in courchevel on the 9th April! Yet lets hope there's still a few more parties to be had this season...
