Less than 50 days to go!

I’ve just returned from Europe and visiting our two new properties in France. The Balias is an intimate and wonderfully appointed chalet in the very centre of Val d’Isere, and the St. Louis has an enviable position just opposite the Bellecote piste in Courchevel 1850.  Both properties give us the opportunity to offer our guests ideally located accommodation in two of the most sought after ski resorts in the world!

Yesterday, up to a metre (40 inches) of fresh snow was reported falling on the half dozen glacier ski areas already open for winter 2009-10 in Austria. The snow fell right down to village level in many areas with some locations reporting 10cm (4 inches) on village streets!News of such snowfall has the team and I looking forward to the start of the winter in the Alps.  I am currently ‘window shopping’ for my new skis and have come to the decision that a pair of Line Blends will serve me well over the season!
