Trois Vallees update
Posted: Friday 31st October 2008 by jdallas
Temperatures are plunging right across the Alps, which means only one thing. Summer has failed again; winter is on its way. Meribel is slowly waking up from its sleepy summer and beginning to take shape for the 08/09 season. New additions this season see a complete overhaul of the tonuegette 1 lift allowing much improved access out of Meribel. In the town, Freeride and Sport 2000 are receiving face lifts and Le Poste has been completely knocked down and rebuilt! In the next vallees, Courchevel has added a completely new piste to the left of the infamous Swisse black run and the Belleville lift company has produced a 4 hour pass that only begins when you do, perfect for dropping the children off at ski school or a more relaxed start after the night before.
With snow already falling across the whole area, we are all getting very excited and with good early snow fall expected, the time for a pre Christmas blast is nearly here.
Hope to see you on the hill
Pete
