More sun and snow on the way...

Sadly the sun has not remained in Val d’Isère over the weekend. After some fantastic sunshine and spring temperatures, the weather has turned slightly. Above the cloud line at 2000m, fresh snow of up to 10cms has settled much to the delight of our guests. Light winds have been providing relief to the avid skier, as the temperature fails to fall below +8 degrees. Early weather predictions are not definite, but some sun and snow are likely to be on the way!

Val d’Isère village is still buzzing, with our guests enjoying the fantastic après bands and cocktail jugs at Saloon. Although the end of season seems close, there is still plenty of entertainment and skiing for everyone to enjoy. This week sees the return of the ‘White Battle’ hosted by the Folie Douce team, which will take place at the bottom of ‘Le Face’. Warm spiced cider; the famous Folie Douce music, combined with jaw dropping ski and snowboard demonstrations, is something not to be missed!
