There are half a dozen distinct ski areas (Corviglia, Corvatsch, Furtschellas, Diavolezza, Lagalb and Alp Languard) totalling 350 km of varied terrain, making this one of the most popular Swiss resorts for short ski breaks and skiing holidays.

The most convenient area is Corviglia which is perfect for beginners, the best beginner slopes are higher up on the mountain and therefore have less traffic making them a good place to start. Intermediates will also enjoy the varied terrain including long and winding runs and steep downhills ,perfect for warming up your legs before a bigger challenge. Corvatsch is another popular area for intermediates with a selection of blue and red runs offering groomed pistes with dips and bowls to improve your technique.advanced and off piste
Corvatsch, across the Valley has some testing skiing and opportunities for off piste and advanced skiers. Corvatsch has a lot to offer advanced and off piste skiers with a selection of mogul fields and dips on the run down the Surlej and the glacier itineraries near the Mandras T-bar. Slightly further afield, but not to be missed are Diavolezza with even more breathtaking glacier descents and the challenging runs of Lagalb.apres ski
Off the slopes, the apres ski ranges from tea and strudel at Hanselmann's, to the lively Schweizerhof Stubli and the exclusive King's Club. For non skiers St Moritz also boasts a selection of designer shops, extensive well-marked walking trails and train rides to the Spa at Scual.
