We are delighted to be hosting a 3 day Ski Performance weekend at the Chalet Balias in Val d'Isere starting on Thursday 19th Jan 2012.

We’ve teamed up with British-run ski school ‘New Generation’ to deliver an exciting weekend of on-piste ski instruction and technical development. Great as a refresher or as an introduction to the technical aspect of skiing, the focus of the performance weekend is on developing your individual skiing style and skills whilst finding the best snow conditions in the Espace Killy.

Who is this for?

The weekend is suitable for all levels of skiers. Groups will be split into beginners, intermediate and advanced courses so you will be skiing with people of similar ability and the coaching will be tailored to each specific group.

Thursday 19th Jan
Welcome to the Chalet Balias. Take some time to explore the resort of Val d'Isere before returning to the chalet for afternoon tea. We will deliver your lift passes and organise your ski equipment hire. Meet and greet your New Generation ski instructors to set your objectives for the weekend. Pre-dinner drinks and canapés will be followed by a four-course evening meal with wine.

Friday 20th and Saturday 21st Jan
You’ll head to the mountain with your instructor for the morning sessions which will develop your skills in ski technique and stance. Following lunch, the afternoon session will cover aspects such as skiing inconsistent conditions, finishing your turns, race coaching, bumps, jumps, speed analysis, carving and a technical overview. On return to the chalet, enjoy afternoon tea whilst analysing the video feedback of your day’s lessons. Relax with canapés and a glass of something sparkling before sitting down to your evening meal.

Free day on the slopes or take our dedicated Ski Event Manager to find the best conditions.

Ski Performance Weekend

• 3 nights accommodation at the Chalet Balias in Val d'Isere on a catered chalet basis
• 2 days tuition with New Generation Ski Instructors (1:6 instructor / client ratio)
• Follow up and feedback session with video analysis
• 3 day Espace Killy lift pass
• Airport transfers to and from the hotel (only when booking our suggested flights)

Prices are based on twin occupancy of the room. Single occupancy prices on request. A reduction may apply to those who do not take the flexiski transfer. Terms and conditions apply.
