Hotel Mooser Kreuz Overview
The Mooserkreuz Hotel is an ideal choice for those looking for a great value stay in St. Anton, just 8 minutes walk from the nearest lively apres ski bars and 15 - 20 minutes to the resort centre.
This hotel is a firm favourite with British guests and we are delighted to offer it exclusively in the UK.
It's a traditional, family-run hotel with a relaxed atmosphere and features everything you could want for your ski holiday, including a heated indoor swimming pool, steam room, solarium, jacuzzi and sauna.
You'll be hosted on a half board basis with flexiski. This includes an extensive buffet breakfast and a 4-course evening meal with a choice of main course. The restaurant is renowned for excellent food well above the 3 star rating of this hotel. The host family bring both Italian and Austrian influences to the menu, so you really get the best of both worlds. Their passion for food shines through, and as a result many guests come back year after year for this reason alone.
The hotel is perfect for couples, friends or groups who are keen skiers looking for a more affordable option than staying in the centre of St Anton but still within a short walk of the village and close to the ski slope lifts and apres ski. All in all, we think the Mooserkreuz is one of the best hotels in St. Anton for the price, food and facilities.
The hotel is located in an elevated position above the village of St Anton, an 8 minute walk from the nearest and most popular apres bars: Mooserwirt, Krazy Kanguruh & Sennhutte.
The nearest Piste is the end of the Osthange 3 red run leading into a blue run, which is just a 5-minute walk from the hotel. It's then a gentle ski down to the main Galzigbahn gondola. For much of the season, depending on snow levels, it may be possible to ski back to the hotel.
The hotel runs its own private shuttle to and from the Rendlbahn gondola, running constantly everyday between 8:30-11am and 3:30-5pm. There is a ski bus stop outside the hotel for the public ski bus service which finishes at 630pm.
Free ski & boot storage for hotel guests can be found at the main Galzigbahn lift.
It is a 15-minute walk to the center downhill and 20 mins back.
