Overview of Sporthotel

The Sporthotel is right in the thick of the action at the heart of atmospheric St Anton, Austria. The hotel is perfectly situated on the pedestrianised main street, just a few minutes walk from the Gampenbahn and Galzigbahn ski lifts.

With three restaurants for hotel guests only as well as a resort famous steakhouse and café-restaurant overlooking the pedestrianised street, the Sporthotel has plenty of dining options to choose from. We get great reviews for both the food and hospitality.

While the hotel doesn’t pretend to be a wellness haven there is an indoor pool complete with a couple of saunas and a steam room to relax those weary muscles, massages are also available on site. And let’s not forget the almost daily pianist at the hotel bar.

What we like

  • Central location on the pedestrian street a short walk to the lifts
  • Great restaurants, you don't have to go far for great grub
  • Wellness centre with pool and saunas

Worth knowing

  • You are in the middle of St Anton, great for après but it can get noisy as a result. Rooms are well sound-proofed though
  • You can rent a locker by the lifts (in Jennewein ski shop) so you don't have to walk in your ski boot - it's not far mind

Ideal accommodation for those in search of a suiting European ski break.
