Overview
Every now and again we come across a hotel that quite simply works, and works exceptionally well. It might not be the most luxurious palace in Megeve, but you cross the road to the slopes, it’s warm, welcoming and invariably friendly – The Royal Rochebrune ticks all the right boxes.
Le Gourmandier restaurant offers regional dishes packed full of locally sourced, super fresh produce. Buffet breakfasts and a la carte dinners the restaurant also has some great kids options. The whole hotel is family focused with a ‘Famille Plus’ label from the French Ministry of Tourism.
Less than a 10 minute stroll to the medieval centre, it’s easy to sample the shops, bars and restaurants of Megève’s gorgeously gastronomic food scene.
