Les Fermes de Méribel are premium residences by Pierre & Vacances with doorstep skiing in the old Meribel Village. Meribel Village is between Meribel Centre (the main resort) and La Tania and is easily linked by bus to Meribel Centre. You can ski to and from here to access the whole area, take the Golf lift up and it's an easy blue run down to the main lift hub area.

The residences themselves are built in the traditional wooden style Meribel is famous for and gives you the freedom of your own space rather than just a hotel room. Split across six chalets the complex has decent shared facilities such as an indoor pool and Deep Nature Spa with sauna and hammam as well as a lounge area near the reception with a fire.

What we like about Les Fermes de Méribel

  • Doorstep skiing location - it's hard to get closer to the slopes
  • Traditional chalet wooden architecture - One of the best things about Meribel
  • Indoor pool, sauna and hammam in the Deep Nature Spa

Worth knowing

  • You are in Meribel Village  there's a couple of restaurants and a shop, if you are looking for après Meribel Centre may be more appropriate
  • There is a bus that runs between the village and centre all day long (free)
  • Watch out for the half bedroom apartments, these have beds in the hallway so not what we're used to - a little odd and a little less privacy

For the après bars down in the main village, there's a free bus that runs between the villages all day so you can easily catch the bus back after après or a meal out. The bus runs until around midnight.
