The Altapura Val Thorens has earned its well-deserved nickname of the ‘highest ski palace'. The modern Nordic ambience is highlighted through its dynamic mix of wood and stone decor and its opulent features include a majestic granite staircase, Venetian chandeliers, open fires and traditional bookcases.
The hotel’s 88 comfortable bedrooms have been specifically designed in a modern style to meet the needs of skiers, without having to renounce elegance or refinement. In addition to the three restaurants, the outdoor terrace faces the summit of Caron and provides an idyllic setting in which to enjoy an après-ski drink as the sun sets over the mountains. Those needing to revive their aching limbs can do so at the 1000m² Pure Altitude Spa with its own Igloo and birch forest ambience.
