It doesn’t get more stylish than the Hotel Matterhorn Focus, each of the 30 bedrooms are individually designed by Swiss artist Heinz Julen. Think floor to ceiling glass to really make the most of the landscape, roaring fires, stand-alone tubs looking out over the Matterhorn and copious amounts of natural light – that’s just the rooms.

The Spa area is spectacular with the pool sweeping from inside to out, designed around the views whilst you relax. Fur throws are dotted around the stand alone fire in the snug area or grab a drink at the chandelier lit bar. The hotel seems amazingly open with so much light yet it’s easy to find one of the many cosy spots for a quiet chat. From the mini shuttle bus to pure glass façade this hotel is visually impressive and very difficult find fault.

Right beside the Matterhorn Express station the mountains are on your doorstep and the town a short stroll away. If you’re looking for something a little bit (or a lot) above your average ski break look no further than the Matterhorn Focus- design, location and delightful service.
