Norway skiing prize breakdown:

You and a friend, colleague, acquaintance or loved one could be flying out to Norway this winter to experience the trip of a lifetime. You'll fly into Bergen with Norwegian airlines and transfer over to Myrkdalen ski resort where you'll be staying at the ski in, ski out 4* Myrkdalen Hotel for three nights on half board. Lift passes and equipment hire are included so you can enjoy your next few days on the pristine pistes.

From Myrkdalen you'll catch your transfer over to Flåm (it takes around an hour) for one night in the historic 4* Hotel Fretheim with views of the Aurlandsfjord, half board is included. From Flåm you will take the RIB fjord safari to explore the UNESCO world heritage listed Nærøyfjord, one of the narrowest fjords in Norway. During the winter expect a frozen landscape with iced over waterfalls and snow covered mountain peaks, you may even break through the morning ice on the water. It's an incredible experience, just make sure to wrap up warm. Norway has over a thousand fjords but this is one of the most striking in the country.

When it comes to heading home, you have one last treat, a ride on the Flåmsbana railway. One of the steepest rail journeys in Europe, it winds it's way 867 metres up from sea level on narrow cliff paths, emerging from 20 tunnels, unparalleled views and frozen waterfalls. The 20 kilometre journey is one you could ride back and forth all day without getting tired of. The whole experience is one of the best exploratory experiences you can tie into a ski holiday, immersing you in the wild Nordic nature.

From the end of the Flåmsbana in Myrdal, you'll hop on the train back to Bergen and fly home.

4* Myrkdalen Hotel

With a ski in, ski out location at the bottom of the slopes, the Myrkdalen hotel is the focal point of the resort. It's all about the basics with the architecture bringing the beauty of the surrounding nature in. The views are spectacular and once the lifts have closed it's a place to disconnect, enjoy the crackling fire and grab some great food from the three in-house restaurants.

4* Hotel Fretheim

The Fretheim hotel sits at the end of the Aurlandsfjord with some impressive views down the fjord. The 19th century manor house has fjord or mountain views from every room and a quiet location at the edge of the village. Food is locally sourced and due to the abundance of herbs in the area the local meats and produce is supposed to be particularly delicious.
