The ski in, ski out Myrkdalen hotel is the focal point of the resort; the lifts emanate from here and the slopes flow down to the hotel. The concept is all about bringing the simple beauty of the outdoors in. Huge windows and entire glass walls let in bags of light and give you mountain views wherever you are in the hotel. They really make the most of the surrounding wilderness, letting you enjoy nature from each of the communal spaces and every room has incredible mountain views of the slopes or down the valley.

A great place to unwind, it's a place to disconnect. After the lifts shut it's back to basics - around the fire with a book, watching the sunset and chatting about your day. Even the food tastes like the landscape outside, wild and pure. There are three restaurants all included on the half board though you may want to book the fondue as it's pretty popular, there's also a home-made pizza and pasta place as well as the a la carte restaurant. The two bars and two kids playrooms make up the rest of the communal spaces in this family-friendly hotel.

Transfers

Bergen airport transfers available at a supplement, subject to availability.  Here at Flexiski we feel that the best way to get to Myrkdalen is by train.  The train from Bergen to Voss is convenient and cost effective with modern comfortable trains and with stunning scenery along the way, the holiday starts here.    Upon arrival in Voss there is a free ski bus to Myrkdalen that takes 40 minutes and is timed to link into specific train arrivals and departures.  It is also possible to take a taxi.   Ask our ski experts for more information.
