The Mount Royal Hotel established itself over 100 years ago and took prime location in the centre of Banff. It’s a great place to explore the town as the shops and bars of Banff are on its doorstep with the ski shuttle bus stop just outside. Contemporary and luxury, Mount Royal Hotel is the ideal accommodation for anyone in search of that perfect ski holiday in Banff. Locals and visitors have pretty much built their community around the Mount Royal Hotel and when it burnt down in 2016, management took this as an opportunity to refresh the hotel's heritage with the best of contemporary amenities. The result is a very stylish hotel with heritage aplenty in historic downtown Banff.
All 135 rooms are made up to meticulous detail, offering fantastic value for money and you’ll experience smiles all round with cheerful Canadian hospitality from the friendly staff. The Mount Royal hotel boasts a selection of facilities for guests including Tony Roma’s restaurant and lounge, which specialises in delicious Alberta steaks and Torque, a traditional Canadian pub serving local craft beers. There is also a hot tub in the open air roof lounge if you’re looking to relax after a day on the slopes.
The hotel benefits from a fantastic central location in the heart of Banff town, on the doorstep of the local shops, bars and restaurants. The shuttle service to the surrounding ski areas stops outside of the hotel for maximum convenience.
