Welcome to Chalet Poudreuse, a fabulous name for a chalet surrounded by snow in Avoriaz!

We are delighted to add this superb modern chalet for the flexiski line-up this Winter. Chalet Poudreuse is located in a great ski in ski out location, conveniently located next to the Yeti bar & restaurant and just a few minutes' walk to the pedestrianised Avoriaz resort centre in the vast Portes du Soleil ski area.

Chalet Poudreuse is only seven years old and is presented in a modern, open, light, Alpine chalet style.

Staying at Chalet Poudreuse will allow you the opportunity to genuinely ski to and from the door, enjoy après-ski bars on the doorstep and it’s just minutes away from the traffic-free resort centre, where there are shops, cafés and the brilliant Aquariaz water park. A ski school meeting point is just meters away. Early booking is recommended each season to secure your dates of choice, as this chalet is in very high demand.

During the evening the area around the chalet becomes calm and quiet apart from the jingling bells of the horse sleighs trotting past. The neighbouring bars close by 6.30pm daily, ensuring a relaxing evening in the chalet.

The first floor is a spacious, vaulted, living area. With an open-plan kitchen-diner and lounge area with a flatscreen TV, DVD player and music system, fireplace (modern log burner) and a balcony boasting panoramic views of the slopes and stunning sunsets. The chalet has a ski room with boot warmers too.  To help relax and revive for a great day skiing there is a sauna on the lower ground floor, the bedrooms on this floor have natural light and ventilation but no view.

A snowcat resort taxi on arrival and departure in Avoriaz is included in the price. This is a fun ride in a piste basher style vehicle, saving a 5 minute walk across snow from the  Avoriaz Welcome Station (airport transfer drop-off point and car park) to the chalet door, or you can take a magical horse and sleigh resort taxi (payable locally).

Chalet Poudreuse is a catered chalet with chalet board which consists of a hearty cooked breakfast, delicious afternoon tea and cake and a 4 course evening meal with superior bottled wine included, all provided by your friendly chalet host who lives out. Please note our chalet staff have 2 days off a week, a Wednesday and a Saturday. On these days they will leave breakfast and afternoon tea out for you, but the evening meal is not provided, which gives you an opportunity to dine out in the resort, where there are plenty of lovely local restaurants, not to mention an excellent choice of bars and shops.

All that's left is for you to have a fantastic Avoriaz ski holiday in Chalet Poudreuse!
