Nestled in the snowy centre of La Clusaz, the Hotel Alpen Roc is just 300 metres from the closest ski lift. The Savoyard style brings the best of nature inside; pale wood, exposed stone and faux fur trimmings along with plenty of natural light and open fire focal points make this a top ski hotel. It's nothing too fancy, just well designed and welcoming.
The hotel includes your drinks, an absolute rarity in the ski world. You get complimentary wine and beer on tap all day and spirits are also available in the evenings. The terrace overlooks the village with some fantastic views - the perfect spot to spend a few hours with free wine and beers. If you can tear yourself away from the terrace, the bar area upstairs has a huge central fireplace and pool table alternatively there's an indoor pool, hot tub, sauna and hammam to enjoy at your pleasure.
