Virtually opposite the main gondola, it's tough to get closer to the slopes in Whistler. The Hilton Whistler Resort & Spa offers comfort as well as convenience. The in-house Taman Sari Royal Heritage Spa is the only authentic Javanese spa in North America, with Indonesian essential oils calming your senses from the moment you walk in.

After you return from the mountains there's a ski concierge service to take care of the heavy stuff and hot chocolates await you in the hotel. If you need to soak your muscles then the outdoor pool and hot tub is the perfect place to catch the sunset or the Cinnamon Bear Bar is a cosy place to grab a drink or sink into a book. You're moments from the town centre to can easily enjoy all Whistler has to offer.

What we like

- Great location, close to the main gondola and ski schools, but far enough back to not hear the late night revellers
- Heated outdoor pool and hot tub, soak up the mountain views (pun intended)
- Hot chocolates waiting for your return each afternoon

Worth knowing

- There are concierge staff on hand to offer advice or book taxis etc. If you want to go somewhere like the Scandinave Spa for example
- The property is not ski in, ski out but close enough to the lifts to not even think about it
- Every room has been renovated for the 2018-19 winter season
