A traditionally styled ski in, ski out 5-star apartment village in Arc 1950, although European in design there's definitely a North American influence. Eight residences surround the pedestrianised centre, which you can ski through all winter - certainly a novel experience. The locker rooms open directly onto the slopes so you can ski to and from your accommodation each day. Snowsure Arc 1950 is hard to beat for its convenience; restaurants, shops and boutiques are all on site so you won't have far to go if you decide to eat out some nights rather than cook yourself.
The apartments are spacious with great facilities, you'll have the mountain feel and sociable space of a chalet without having to share. There are 4 heated outdoor pools, hot tubs, sauna, hammam and a fitness studio. All eight apartment blocks have access to these facilities with a Deep Nature Spa also onsite for an additional charge. There's an indoor to outdoor pool in the Princes des Cimes building (which was renovated last season - 2016/17) so make sure you book here if you want direct access to this pool as not all residences can use this facility.

Les Arcs is best for intermediate and advanced skiers. Though beginners are also well catered for. The link with La Plagne gives the ski area 425km of pistes. However, the lift is on the outer reaches of both Les Arcs and La Plagne. To get from Les Arcs accommodation to the centre of La Plagne requires a lot of mileage so you may not want to do this every day.
